Query EPO for most recent DAT version

Jump to solution

Hi, I am trying to build a query that will return the most recent DAT file version on the EPO Server. I know that I can run the built in DAT compliance report for all my managed systems, but I only want to know what version is on the EPO Server so I can manually compare it to the version on client computers.

Does anybody have an SQL statement that can achieve this? Thanks!

This should do it:

SELECT version

FROM dbo.EPOAvertLatestUpdates

WHERE type LIKE DAT%

PS. Obviously with the proper apostrophes that this forum wont let me post!

Thanks Ronald! I got the following query to work:

SELECT version FROM dbo.EPOAvertLatestUpdates WHERE dbo.EPOAvertLatestUpdates.type = 'DAT_32'

If you want to check how many computers have latest DAT installed (same as ePO repository) why don't you use (as you said) DAT compliance report setting as "Configure criteria" that "DAT Version (VirusScan Enterprise) is within X verisions of repository" =1?

This will show as compliant any computer having only same DAT version as ePO repository

I specifically did not want to use the the EPO report...I needed to get the value of the latest version of the DAT for use in an external script.
