there are a few ways to do the deployments

If you have a list of endpoint , you can click on system tree ->>> new systems , then either import the endpoint names in a flat file or copy and paste them , in the input block . see below

epo.jpg

put in the credentials for the deployment , then hit run ( creds should have domain admin or service account that has admin deployment access to endpoint)

if agent has been successfully been installed , the state will be changed from unmanaged to managed

on the system tree , page , click assisgned client tasks  , actions new task

epo2.jpg

Then select mcafee agent ---->> product deployment ----> create new deployment

task.jpg

task1.jpg

1. Name yout deployment task

2. choose package you want to deploy

3 . Select action : in this case "install"

4. you can deploy multiple packages with a single task

Click Save , bottom right

task2.jpg

You can choose to deploy to all endpoints , or select endpoints that have been tagged .

Click next bottom right , this will take you to the schedule component of the deployment

sched.jpg

set your scheduling , then next will take you to the summary  and then save , or you can click on save .

The deployment task is configured

Hi koseelen

I am trying to choose the second option on the new system section for pushing the agents with sorting tree.

But i am still unable to see it under the systems section.

I am able to ping to that system.

Can u help me,what might be the reason for this not to be visible?

IF you are doing it via LDAP , there is an option to push agents automatically .

Drop me a PM with your contact details.
