As the thread titles says.
I´ve a lot of dublicate Client entries in my epo database and found nothing to handle them expect manual deletion.
Is there a way to check for MAC, IP or Hostname to merge this entries?
If you go in to Queries and search on duplicate, it will bring up some reports that will help you manipulate the entries.
Try to research why they are duplicated. On a VPN where they check in to epo and go to another spot in the epo tree? Duplicate guids is something good to look at as well.
Use the Mcafee kb at https://kc.mcafee.com
This query is one that will bring up some info on duplicates.
Ok, maybe I'm just stupid but i don't get the following:
Well... the ePolicy Orchestrator console is displayed in a browser. There is no Right-click, because Right-click brings
up the browser context menu.
You're right, that's different in epo 4.0. You need to go in to queries, i cant even remember where that is in epo 4.0. Once you are in queries, search for a query name with duplicate in it and that should get you cooking.
Download the new ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) Support Center Extension which simplifies ePO management and provides support resources directly in the console. Learn more about ePO Support Center
