Permission set configuration for ENS FW Catalog

Jump to solution

Hi,

I need to grant full access to the ENS FW Catalog via a permission set - when viewing the catalog permissions, I only seem to get the option to enable viewing of the catalog (see attached).

How do I go about granting this permission?

Many thanks,

Hello,

Thanks for your post.

I would like to inform you that there should be one more option Endpoint Security Firewall from where you can change the permissions.Permission Community.PNGPermission Community1.PNG

Once you will click on edit you will be able to see the settings.

Please make sure that you have firewall extension checked in and that is in running state.

Cheers!

Just tested - view permission means that the Catalog option is available in the menu, and the permissions are then controlled via Endpoint security firewall permission.

So if you have 'view and change' set in "Endpoint Security Firewall" and do not have "view" option selected in "Endpoint security firewall catalog:" you cannot access the catalog (it is not in menu).

If you have "view" set for catalog, what you can do (view or view+edit) is controlled by the "endpoint security firewall" setting.

Thanks!
