New Deployment missing package

Jump to solution
I downloaded the Rogue System Sensor 5.0.5.130 and when I go to create a new deployment, I get an error stating that the package is missing. I deleted the packed, removed it, and checked it back in and continue to get the same error.

I was able to reproduce the issue on 5.9.1 and 5.10.  I believe this is as designed, but not how older versions behaved.  If you go to the client task catalog and create new deployment task, the sensor is not an option.  If you choose a system or systems in the system tree and go to actions, rogue sensor, add or remove rogue sensor, it will deploy.  I tested it out on one of my systems and the product guide also lists that as the method to deploy it.  RSD has always had that method of deployment, but I never noticed what version it failed to start showing up as a client task option.  So, to deploy the sensor, use the method in the product guide for it.

Where do you see the package missing - server logs or client side when it tries to get the files?  Have you gone to the epo server where it is installed to the db\software directory, the branch you have it checked into and find the RSD folder.  Are the install files actually there?

If I go to Master Repository > Rogue System Sensor  (Type: Install, Version 5.0.5, Minor Version 130, Check-In Date: 11/13/18 12:22 PM, Distro Type: Licensed, Branch: Current) > Create New Deployment Task >

This takes me to the New Deployment Window and in the "Select your software:", next to the Package: drop down menu it says " Missing package: Rogue System Sensor 5.0.5.130"

Checking on whether that is really as designed or not - will get back to you on that.
