Im new to McAfee ePO. We are installing Latest DAT to all the client Machines. We just started to implement McAfee. We manully installed McAfee Agent 4.6 on all the 12 Machines to start now. We are able to see these 12 Machines in the ePO -> Menu--> Systems--> Detected Systems. I Have Checked In the Latest DATs by Manual Method-downloaded from the site. Now I need to push it to these detected systems? How to proceed? Any suggestions?
It's not made clear in your post but i assume that you also have a version of VirusScan Enterprise (VSE) installed on your 12 client machines.
Your 'ePO -> Menu--> Systems--> Detected Systems' is not nessesarily the first place to start. Thats to do with rogue system detection and can be ignored for now.
You need to go to 'ePO -> Menu--> Systems--> System Tree'. If your agent has been installed correctly your clients should appear here (possibley in Lost&Found'). Create group and move the clients into the group.
Create an Product Update task under the 'Assigned client tasks' tab of the group.
Refer to Page 190 of the ePO v4.5 Product Guide on how to create an update task.
Also Pages 59 - 64 of the ePO v4.5 Best Practices Guide.
Thanks for all your Replies.
I Have installed the DAT Successfully. I could log into one System and i could see that the DAT file is updated.
But how to run a report to check the DAT Versions on all the machines
'VSE: DAT Deployemnt' is a defaut report as part of an ePO install so it should be there.
Try clearing your 'quick find' filter and searching again.
Are you sure your not looking at the reports tab and not queries?
It's under the 'VirusScan Enterprise' group within queries.

I could see only the Following:
4.Rogue System Detection
6. TOPS Compliance
7. Threat Events
in the ePO Server---under shared Groups.
