Moving Distributed Repository to new EPO Server

Jump to solution
All: we have a distributed "HTTP" repository on our old 5.3.1 EPO Server and it's one of the last pieces to shutting the old server down, but it has old packages tied to it (ex: ENS 10.5). If I delete this Distributed Repository and re-create it on the new 5.10 server - will it only grab the packages on that new server? I want to avoid bringing over any old packages (none of them are checked in on the new server). Thanks!

If you delete the package, recreate distributed repository from ePO 5.10. You need to replicate the contents from master repository to the distributed repository then it will  contain whatever is present in ePO 5.10 master repository.

Hey,

So it will only grab what is "checked" into the new server?

Correct. Replication means, it will copy the content of ePO's master repository to distributed repository.
