to do this: stop mcafee services on ePO app copy epo DB (mdf and ldf) files to your new SQL destination on new SQL create user for EPO (I use local SQL account with password that include only numbers and letters - some bug on Mcafee side, dont remember why), attach those files, assign DBO permissions to this user.
on your ePO app server: start services: Go to this URL in ePolicy Orchestrator: http://server/core/config In the Configure Database Settings page, scroll down and change the credentials as needed. Click OK when done. Restart the system to apply the changes.
if everything working fine you will able to remove SQL from same server
