Re: Migrating ePO 4.6.6 to 5.0.0 using upgradecompatibility tool.

Discard my LDAP Reg post plz. We have to Register your old epo with new one.tre.jpg

Before it also import your Agebt to servr comm keys and let the system and plicies being pop up in ePO 5.0

No problem if you have synch LDAP as well. that will help you to synch your domain .

You can import Agent to server Master keys under server configuration.Better practice is to take backup of ePO 5.0 Agentto server Master key and then remove it or replace it with older one exported from old ePO.

So I will import the key from the old server even though the name is different?  Just making sure.

Do I need to import the new servers agent-server key on the old server?

NO no.

You will export a key which has Agent =230 or equals to your clients.

On new machine backup the same key then del it or rplace it with older one(which you exported from older epo.

You will not import any key to older servr.

Re: Migrating ePO 4.6.6 to 5.0.0 using upgradecompatibility tool.

Please import Agent to server Master key first in new epo and then set a successfull connection enabling all options on this page. It will take some time to show all of your systems under system tree on new ePo 5.0 server. Once you see all your system just remove the old ePO machine and thats all.

Your new epo will take control once it shows all system managed under its System  Tree.
