Hi Furqan Ahmed,
you have the Product it self (like Virusscan Enterprise 8.8) and you have the extensions and reports too.
The extension is some kind of "configuration-file", that you import to epo. After that, you may configure the product (VSE 8.8 for example).
If you do not import the extension, you may not configure your product.
McAfee "splits" the program-files, configuration-data and reports (you should import the reports too).
- You check in VSE 8.8 P2 (before you used 8.7)
- Then you check in the VSE 8.8 P2 extension (to have the posibility to configure the product within ePO)
- Then you check in the VSE 8.8 P2 report extension (to have the posibility to get actual reports - viruses found, top 10 lists etc.)
Hope this helps
