McAfee Agent can't find valid repository 2402 event

in my environment (epo 5.9.1 - most of agents are 5.0.x or 5.1.x about 5000 agents) few agents (about 80) generate errors during update task (more than 30000 2402 events per month)

the strange thing is that the detail of a manual update task (only AMCore dat file) shows "succeded" but "failed".... in reality the DAT is updated...

any idea ? thx in advance

c:\programdata\mcafee\agent\logs on the client will have an mcscript log and depending on agent, it may also have an mcscript deploy log.  That will show why there is an invalid repository error.  One of the most common is a not up to date site.  In other words, a new dat or product was checked into master repository, but distributed repositories haven't been replicated to yet before clients try to pull content from it.  They won't use a repository that is not up to date.  There could be other errors - that log will show you reason for invalid repository.
