MER deployment issue for EPO 4.0.0

Hello,

Technical support specialists recommended using the Ministry of Economic Development for the EPO.
link: https://kc.mcafee.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=KB69308
MER for ePO 4.0.0 is not installed on the selected node.
Everything was done on the basis of the document "ePO-MER_3_1_Walkthrough_Guide.pdf" and a video clip under the link http://players.brightcove.net/21712694001/S1o50VS1l_default/index.html?videoId=5478948700001.
Dilateness with the distribution of MER for ePO 4.0.0 to nodes (page 12 of the pdf document)
To be honest, I do not quite understand how gathering information on nodes will help me answer the question about license keys given in Service requests 4-19283529311.

It won't have anything to do with it.  I will assist in getting your license keys merged.

By the way, the request for the mer is an automated email that goes out when you open a service request.  For most troubleshooting issues, it helps speed up the process so we have data to look at.  In your case, please ignore it as it is not needed.

Re: MER deployment issue for EPO 4.0.0

How can you help me in combining license keys?
I have a license key for 180 nodes. This year, the organization completed the purchase of a second license key for 70 nodes with a different validity period. Without asking the administrator for antivirus software. On the Mcafee ePolicy Orchestrator 5.9.0 console, i can add one single license key. Currently, the license key is used by 156 nodes. The remainder is 24 nodes. There is no guarantee that I will not violate the license agreement when installing antivirus software on an 181 node. Therefore, I need to have a clear answer from McAfee technical support, what should I do in this case. An additional server with the ePolicyOrchestrator console is not considered.

I am working on getting your licenses merged under one grant number so that all your node counts and products are under one grant and one license key.  That will fix the licensing count issue.

Re: MER deployment issue for EPO 4.0.0

It is not something that support can do, we have to make the request with customer services.  So that is why you were requested in the SR to contact customer service.  I am trying to do that for you.

I just wanted to update you, I am not in tomorrow, so it may be Monday or later till we hear back from the backend on this.  It will not cause any issues in the meantime with your licensing.

Re: MER deployment issue for EPO 4.0.0

I already have a request for Service Requests 4-19283529311. I was told the following: Please see below the contact number and website of corporate support. 00800 122 55624 - Corporate Support Telephone https://mysupport.mcafee.com/eservice - Corporate Support Website (ServicePortal). When clicking on the link above, I will be transferred to the page with the following link: https://support.mcafee.com/ServicePortal/faces/wcnav_defaultSelection?_afrLoop=2446122185752000&_afr.... ctrl-state% 3D13ndoam01o_247 Therefore, I do not quite understand where I should go.  Does McAfee have Russian-language support for corporate clients?

Yes, there is Russian language support on the McAfee websites.  However, I am taking care of your service request, so at the moment you don't need to do anything.  We will take care of getting this fixed for you.
