Installing AV on ePolicy Server

Jump to solution

I am wondering what other people do to secure there ePolicy Server from Viruses.  Do you just install McAfee AV and not the actual agent or do you install the agent and let the ePO server do everything else.

Thanks.

You'd need to install both - without the agent, you won't be able to update VirusScan. I would imagine that most people deploy an agent to the ePO server and then treat it pretty much like any other machine in terms of VSE policy, updating and so on...
