Hey guys last night all of a sudden, IE 7 and Mozzila ( 2 patches back ) stopped working when launching the ePO console.
When using Mozilla you get just a normal not found page, but in IE you get a browser not supported page as seen here
So with that said , the only browesr we can use in our enviroment is IE8 and Mozilla 3.6.6
Im at a loss.... This has happened in the last 24 hours.
here is a quick look at the repo if needed.

epo 4.5 need IE8, you need to update your browser.
That's not true, I'm afraid: 4.5 is supported on IE 7 and 8.
These Patches Were applied to the physical server itself
Security Update for Windows Server 2008 (KB980218
Security Update for Windows Server 2008 (KB982666)
Update for Windows Server 2008 (KB982519)
Security Update for Windows Server 2008 (KB979482)
Security Update for Windows Server 2008 (KB979559)
Installation date: 7/10/2010 3:02 AM
None of these appear to affect my cause.
I know it works with IE8, half of our IT staff is IE8 and it works fine, the other half is on IE7,
My question is what changed that IE7 dosent work anymore, says its not supported, and states in the KB that IE7 is Supported
Logically, something is causing ePO to misidentify the browser. I'm not sure how ePO does this at this point - presumably the user-agent header - but I'll try and find out.
As a diagnostic step, any chance that those patches could be removed?
Well dont how or why but updated the server a few patches at a time, after the install of these 2 it works, ????? what the heck. ITs a mysterie to me...and im not complaining about it. all i know is that it works now, here ar the 2 i installed and rebooted, like i said when it came back up...all was fine...GO figure
