How to remove or tag unmanaged clients

In my new ePO server, I have found clients which do not exist on the network anymore. It comes up because we sync with AD and our AD admin didn't remove them. Now, I can't remove the old ePO server, because I can still see 100s of them sitting unmanaged. I know they do not exist. My questions are:

1. What is the best way to remove or tag those in ePO server without removing them from AD?

2. How can I make a report which will find machines that didn't connect with ePO in last 2 months?

Any link to documenation or manual will be very helpful.

Thanks in advance.

Re: How to remove or tag unmanaged clients

ePO comes with a predefined query called Inactive Agents, which I think is what you want. By default it is configured to find machines that have not communicated in a month, but it would be very easy to change this to two months if that's what you require.

Simply add that query to the Server Task you have for AD Sync and you should be able to purge those systems automatically each time the AD Sync task runs.
