Hardware size for ePO 4,6

I need to deploy ePO for 14,000 machines, and I've read that for less than 50,000 it recommended to have the Database logs and ePO on the same server.

But what hardware size do I need to allocate for that server?

Re: Hardware size for ePO 4,6

Hi...

If you haven't already done so, please see the ePO 4.6 hardware sizing guide as well as the Best Practices document - this is for ePO 4.5 but it's still applicable to 4.6.

With 14,000 machines I would definitely recommend a dedicated SQL server - generally we recommend this for more than 5,000 machines rather than 50,000.

And what hard-drive size do you recommend me to keep my logs for 6 months?

It really depends on what products you will be using, the amount of activity in your environment, and which events you are logging. check out the documents I linked to - they should explain in more detail

Yes, I've read it. But I didn't found something in relation of data retention.

they say only how to purge the logs and how automaticly delete logs for disconnected devices.

I'm using only antivirus.
