I would suggest to open case to investigate removal issue you are facing from ePO.
You mentioned removing MOVE and the agent. Does that mean you are trying to remove the epo agent also through epo? If so, that can't be done. Any removal of the agent through epo is done when you delete a system from epo and choose to remove agent. However, that does not actually remove the agent, but only takes it out of managed mode.
As for why MOVE isn't uninstalling, you would need to check agent logs.
masvc log will show it invoking the task
mcscript log will show whether it was able to get the detection script and hand it off to msiexec or not.
If that occurs, then you need to look at the install logs for what the failure would be.
Agent log location - c:\programdata\mcafee\agent\logs
Install log location - c:\windows\temp\mcafeelogs
