When you can not install a new agent, or remove a previous agent, what do you do? EPO is 5.3 The previous agent is 503,316 new agent is 504,283, the pc has windows 10 pro, other windows 7 pro The error is "general fault" "fatal error" what can be done??
Try manually uninstalling the agent:
Locate the frminst file on the client system. This file should be located in one of the following directories:
McAfee Agent 5.x/4.x, file should be located in one of the following directories:
C:\Program Files\Mcafee\Common Framework\x86\
C:\Program Files (x86)\Mcafee\Common Framework\x86\
While logged on as an Administrator, press Windows+R, type cmd, and click OK.
type out the "<location of frminst file>\frminst.exe" /remove=agent
type out the "<location of frminst file>\frminst.exe" /forceuninstall

I commented that in some cases, my network has more than a thousand computers, frminst.exe does not appear on any of the routes. And other aparace but not uninstalled. That happens when they are agents of versions 502.288 What I had to do, is to use MCPR, MVT, PreInstallMC and install the version of the agent that had in that case the 502.288 But I do not know if there will be a faster solution.
Please note that the McAfee Consumer Product Removal Tool is not meant to be used on Corporate Products.
MCPR/MVT are for Consumer products.
Could you kindly provide a (Screenshot) of the product you are using?

That you recommend me, I still use mvt or not, to work?
