Failed to enumerate domains , authentication required.

Hello:

I am testing ePO because this is my first time using a McAfee product.
Although our company's procurement is in the process, I don't think it will affect my test.

I want to add a system to the system tree. I encountered an error when I clicked the browse button and entered the domain account password.

I searched for a long time and tried according to the method recommended by KB70414.
My ePO environment is Windows Server 2019 Standard, and there is no Computer Browser service, so I installed SMB1.0, and enabled the Computer Browser service.

But it still prompts the same error.
I looked at the log file and mentioned above:

20200205135944 E #06036 NAIMCOMN source\netenum.cpp(48): WNetOpenEnum 2 error 2184 from provider Microsoft Windows Network, description: 服务尚未启动(The service has not been started )

Which service is not started?

Hi hedandan8886,

Kindly confirm if the appropriate NETBIOS is enabled over TCP/IP ?

Re: Failed to enumerate domains , authentication required.

yes, NETBIOS is enabled.
I'm using AD,not workgroup.
I read this link and found that everything works fine.
Public shares are accessible, admin shares are accessible.
You can access epo and AD / DC through \\ computername

But the failure to find the epo in my network explorer ,is related to this reason?

Re: Failed to enumerate domains , authentication required.

With newer versions of the OS, smb1 was removed, which I know you reinstalled, but it was retired for security reasons.  Right now, epo, unfortunately, uses that for enumerating a domain, so by design, you won't be able to use that method.  You can add the systems by alternate means.

Load systems by file

AD sync

Type name in manually.

Re: Failed to enumerate domains , authentication required.

means this method is not AD sync?
So where is AD synchronization?
I didn't find the AD sync button.
For the first time researching ePO, please forgive me.
thanks。
