FQDN System Name

Is there a way to list the FQDN in the System Name field rather than short name? Or a way to manually populate the domain field for a list of systems?

The hope is to avoid having to use DNS suffix search lists.

I've tried exporting systems, adding the domain to each line in the .txt and importing that but it drops the suffix. Ive also tried copy and pasting the list and it too removes the suffix...

I am almost positive ive seen FQDN in system name field before but can't remember any of the context other than just seeing it.

these are unmanaged btw.

Thanks for any advice.

Re: FQDN System Name

Perhaps, System Tree <> Systems Tab <> Actions <> Choose Columns <> Either Computer Properties or Detected Systems: DNS Name <> click Save
