Error reading db.properties file

Hello,

I am getting the following error while installing Patch4 to ePO 4.5 setup. Attached is the Log files and error message. The dynamic port entry is proper in SQL server configuration.

Attached is the error message along with installation log file from TEMP folder.

Is anybody have faced this issue, please help .

The above issue is completely related to DB connection credential. After applying to ePO, the db.properties file get updated with latest information and it is readable while installing Patch 4 to ePO 4.5 by setup.

The issue has been fixed now .

Sorry to dig up old threads but I just wanted a rant, having wasted the best part of 5 hours trying to get an EPO patch installed.

I too had to change the login credentials in https://localhost:8443/core/config to sa - just to install a patch - it shouldn't have to be this way!

What I'd like to know is what privileges the normal EPO account needs on the SQL server to be able to perform patches.
