Epolicy migration from 4.6.6 to 5.3.1, how move clients.

I need a suggestion or a best practice for my migration.

I have:

Windows 2008 64bit

Epolicy 4.6.6

DB on SQL 2005 Sp4

Windows 2008 R2 64bit

Epolicy 5.3.1

DB on SQL 2012

I preferred to do a fresh install. I completed the migration (policies, tasks, and others settings).

Now I just have to move clients (1000~).

I should:

a) Registered new server on old server, export and import security key and use KB79283 and "TRANSFER" option for move all clients

b) Re-push agent on all clients (with force installation option)

Which is the best option?

But from my perspective, why repush the agent, when you can just transfer?

So I'd do a) then complete with b) if you have stragglers.

A big plus of a) is clients don't need to be online at the same time you're pushing. So for things to happen "hand off", a) is best
