Email alerts to ePO - are they queued if PC is off-network?

Jump to solution

Let's say we've got a bunch of laptops that have EPO on them and VSE 8.5i

Let's say that while the machine is off-network, but that viruses are found, either through the OAS or scheduled scan.

When the machine is brought back onto the network, does it upload those detections to EPO for the purposes of sending out email alerts?

Or are those only triggered via on-network (real time, if you will) detections?

Those threat events will be sent to the ePO server once the device is connected. In scenarios such as this you might want to consider leveraging an external facing Agent Handler as the events would get sent back to the ePO server closer to real time.
