The same information I found in EpoAppSvr.log. The valicert certificate looks ok, also I try this https://kc.mcafee.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=KB74029 with no luck..
Solved! Go to Solution.
Any updates Mirek??
I too have tried resolving the issue follwoing KB74029. This issue just began out of no where, with no changes being made to my system. I was running 4.6.1 and have recently updgraded to 4.6.7. I was hoping that would have maybe resolved the issue, but nope!
Is anyone receiving updates through ePO? Is something wrong with the Cert?
Contacting support this afternoon... Willl keep you posted Mirek...
Do you have a proxy and/or a security web appliance invovled in the connection to get you to epo.mcafee.com ? It is one of my possible theories as tp why this fix isn't working
all my three ePO server have the same configuration
It works fine for 2 4.6 EPO server
To be more precise in my case, the Master repositoy update task works correctly on the EPO 5 server so i'm able to download the db update for example and it's just the software manager module that refuses to connectCe message a été modifié par: Pmaquoi on 28/03/13 7:46:44 CDT
We have proxy and other high-security stuff, but it's not a issue here. Everything worked just fine until last week. I noticed that after importing to Trusted Root CA AddTrustExternalCARoot.crt certificate from Comodo everything goes smoothly (I don't have that certificate on my EPO server)..Also I noticed that on epo.mcafee.com there is new certificate, issued on 2013-03-15. So question to McAfee geeks - there was change of certificates last week? Should I import that certificate I mentioned above to Trusted Root CA for good? Or there is another solution?
Same here, followed the procedure as given in https://kc.mcafee.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=KB74029 as well.
It did not work.
This on EPO 4.6.5 (build: 168)
