EPO Installation Case Sensitive Collation

Hi there!,

I am trying to install the new epolicy Orchastrator on a testserver..

I backed up the current db (from my current epo server) and set it up on the test server.
I am in the process of setting the Database Server Account. I chose the setting "This is a SQL Server account" and enter my SA credentials.

I am getting this error "Setup had detected that the database server is set to Case-Sensitive(CS) Collation"

I have checked the settings in the DB and it is set to the following:

SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS

So it shouldn’t be giving me that problem in the first place.

Could you kindly advise what I need to do.

Thanks

RE: EPO Installation Case Sensitive Collation

Read this:

Installation of ePO to a case-sensitive SQL server fails [KB47992]
https://knowledge.mcafee.com/SupportSite/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB47992&slice...

the jist of it is this:
Currently ePO is not designed to work with case-sensitive SQL installations.

I did what the link told me to and here is what my epo DB says:

Status=ONLINE, Updateability=READ_WRITE, UserAccess=MULTI_USER, Recovery=FULL, Version=611, Collation=SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS, SQLSortOrder=52, IsTornPageDetectionEnabled, IsAutoCreateStatistics, IsAutoUpdateStatistics
