Re: EPO 5.10 Hosts not displaying under System Name

Jump to solution

Hi,

We have the same issue!

I tried to delete the computers from the system tree with keep the agent.

Aftert the agent-server communication, the computer name was wisible (lost and found), however If I clicked on it or dragged it to another org, the issue show up again.

I also queried the sqls, and got a couple of computers which has impacted.

Any suggestion show should we solve this?

regards,

David

Please open a ticket with McAfee.  Update 1 resolves that issue, but you need a service request to get it.

We are having this issue as well......I am concerned because we are already running ePO 5.10.0 update 1 and this issue was supposed to be resolved in update 1.

We have already confirmed the SQL compatibility level, and we have a ticket open with a MER submitted -

Are you able to install update 2?

We are currently putting the change request through for approval to apply update 2.

McAfee support took a look at our MER and confirmed that during the 5.10 install, none of update 1 was applied (as there is no updates folder in the ePO install directory), so that's why we are having this issue.

Running ePO 5.10.0 update 2 resolved our issue.

Apparently when we ran the update 1, none of the updates were successfully applied and that's why we were seeing this issue.

Update 2 ran smoothly and afterwards it appears all agents are properly reporting system information, thank you!
