EPO 4.6 Console does not load.

Clean install of server 2003 sp2

Installed EPO 4.6 trial mode with local database (wanted to test and get used to the interface before upgrading production box).

Launch the console and it just sits there with the "busy" graphic by McAfee.

Any thoughts?

I have bothe rebooted the server, and turned off the firewall.

Thanks,

   scott

Re: EPO 4.6 Console does not load.

Can we have screenshot what exactly are you getting at console window?

What is the browser are you using? I will suggest  you to enable Java scripts in IE then try to open the console.

Did we test with firefox?

Re: EPO 4.6 Console does not load.

What web browser are you using? I had issues when using Firefox 4.0 with the console not loading correctly. Had to switch to IE 8, remember that IE9 is not supported.

Re: EPO 4.6 Console does not load.

As per KB#:KB51569 (https://kc.mcafee.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=KB51569), Firefox 4.0 is not the supported browser.

Re: EPO 4.6 Console does not load.

I had this happen with IE. Oddly enough, clicking on the loading graphic made the login box appear.

Thanks to all who responded.

It turned out that the install process did not correctly store the login credentials for the SQL Express instance it installed.

(I did not try clicking on the graphic, perhaps I should have.

Again, thanks to everyone.
