Distributed Repositories - Machine Decomissioned before policy changed from superagent

Jump to solution

Hi,

I have  a machine that was decomissioned and was not removed removed as a Distributed Repositories prior to being decomissioned. Now it sits there in Distributed Repositories section and causes Repository Replication failures in the server tasks log area..(the rest are replicating fine)

Anyway.. i'd like to clean it out... i can't just assign it a new policy as it doesn't take effect until its talked to the agent on the Server (which won't be happening as it is decommissioned) and sent back acknowledgement and then it removes it as a super agent and from the Distributed Repositories section.

I found an article on it:

https://community.mcafee.com/message/50264

The last guy said the solution was here:

https://kc.mcafee.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=KB60470&pmv=print

However the link is dead. Does anyone know how to remove this?

Thanks for your time.
