Disabled user in ePO

Hello team, I have a question regarding a user in ePO. In case I disable the user what is the impact if there is any? Do I have to check the tasks/queries, etc. which are running under the user? Generally what needs to be checked/changed before disabling the user to avoid any issue. Thank you Lukas Nevaril

Re: Disabled user in ePO

Hello,

thank you for the KB.

It describes how to find queries/tasks in case you want to delete the user.

My question is what is the impact If I only disable the account.

Thank you

Re: Disabled user in ePO

Any tasks owned by that user may not run.  You would treat it basically the same as deleting it to avoid any issues by removing ownership.  Doing that while account still exists prevents the tasks from being removed.

Re: Disabled user in ePO

I did some tests and the tasks are running even with disabled account.
However I understand your explanation.
Thank you

Re: Disabled user in ePO

It is possible that user wasn't owner on any scheduled tasks.  If it was, you might not see them running.  So that is a good thing 🙂
