Determine machines without Virus Scan Enterprise

Hi all,

Apologies for a primitive questions!

What is the best way to determine which machines don't have VSE installed?

ePO version is 4.6 and we have mainly VSE8.7, but we still have 8.5 somewhere that we missed to upgrade,

and also I'm sure there are some server and client machines that don't have VSE installed!

thanks for your help in advance!

Re: Determine machines without Virus Scan Enterprise

Hi mandara,

Consider installing "McAfee® Rogue System Detection" (RSD).

Enter your valid Grant Number here:

http://www.mcafee.com/us/downloads/downloads.aspx

Select your product (such as, in my case: McAfee Endpoint Protection Suite)

Under 'Management Solutions'  locate and select 'Rogue System Detection v4.7.0'

         Then 'Agree'

There you will find the product and documentation to get you started.

The version currently available is v4.7.1 (as opposed to the version listed in the 'Management Solutions' title) as of today.

Good luck,

Ron Metzger

Thanks,
Ron Metzger
