When deploying an agent via RSD do you need to remove the "New Detection = True" setting from the automation task. In other words, if that setting is true will it try once and never again, regardless of whether the deployment was successful or not?
While we're on the subject, what is the purpose of the agent query for rogue detection? What exactly does an agent query do?
Solved! Go to Solution.
The "New Detection" setting when set to TRUE will cause the task to only run is the system detected is new to the detected systems list. If it is a machine that already exists, the task will not execute.
The Agent query is so the ePO server can query the agent on the wake-up port and try to find out more about the system.
