Decode export of EPO Policy Settings

Jump to solution

I'm looking to automate documention our policies in ePO. While investigating the possibility of doing this, I have noticed that the Access Protection rules appear to be encoded, though I'm not sure how. Does any know of a way to decode these vaules to allow for plain text documentation of the rules?

Example output available at https://gist.github.com/n8felton/ac6cad77aa006b3a22c1#file-policy-export-productid-viruscan8800 under the "Wrkstn_APRules" section.

Answered my own question on this. They are just Base64 encoded strings for anyone else that is curious.
