Checking in packages manually?

I have checked in the most current VSE 8.7i patch4. However, when I ask a pc to uninstall 8.5 and install 8.7i I still get the 8.7i patch3 installed. Is there a step i missed?

thanks

Hi...

It doesn't sound like you're doing anything wrong

Can you post a screenshot of the master repository page from ePO?

Thanks -

Joe

Re: Checking in packages manually?

Thanks - I'd forgotten that the VSE packages don't display the minor version number, though, so unfortunately it doesn't tell us very much

I would suggest removing all the VSE 8.7 packages and hotfix packages from all branches, then check in just the "8.7 + Patch 4" repost package into the Current branch, and see if this deploys correctly over an 8.5 installation. Assuming it does you can then add in just the P4 package, and so on.

Re: Checking in packages manually?

Because I am new to ePO i want to verify what you have said.

remove the current and previous VSE 8.7i from the master R. My question is, can I move them to the evaluation branch and then check-in the VSE 8.7i patch 4 to the current branch. will that work. I may want to go back to VSE 8.7i hotfix 3 if i have problems with Patch 4.

thanks for all your help its been great.
