Cannot edit my imported DLP Policies after migration from epo 5.3 to 5.10 on new server

Jump to solution

I just built a new server with clean install of epo 5.10.  I exported policies etc from the old epo 5.3 server and imported them.  They all show. all the extensions were updated on the old server to match the new ones.

When I go to edit the DLP Policy, or create a new one I get a blank screen on the configuraton page and if I hit Save I get an error "Unable to save policy. The Function epoApplyPolicySetting() is not defined"

Did you also import the dlp config settings, etc under dlp settings?  Do you have any updates installed in epo for 5.10 - such as update 3?

Did you also export the dlp policy settings in dlp policy manager and import those?  For dlp, you have to do both?

Also suggest to check KB90983 in case there is sql collation mismatch.

I looked at the KB article and I searched the orion log for that error but it was not in there so I dont think that applies here.

I did.   I can see them. and they show as assigned.   but I cant edit them...or create any new ones.  All the other policies I exported/imported I can edit.

Can I ask for the version of all the bits involved please?

ePO 5.10 cu?

DLP v?
DLP Ext ?

Would it be possible to have snippet (20-30 lines) of the Orion log when you attempt to make a modification to one of the problem policies?
