Can't get EPO console on client

Jump to solution

Hi

recently upgraded Windows 2003 server to 2008, and reinstalled the EPO server.

From the server I can happily get to http://servername:8443 and it loads the console/dashboards using IE9

however from any client/other machine when I try to load the above I either get

Firefox 3.6 --- pops up opening - "you have chosen to open which is a application/octet-stream - what should firefox do with this file"

IE 9 - attached JPG - page loads with the weird image below.

mcafee.jpg

Any clues as to why i'm getting this?

regards

matt

As per the support statement (KB#:KB51569), IE9 is not the supported browser.

Please post the screenshot of Firefox error message.

It seems to be browse issue.

Please try accessing the ePO console from other machine where you are using FF 3.6.x?

Tried a few different machines now - all the same no browser from any machine bar the server itself works on the http://

servername:8443

quickly tried the http://servername:8081 and that was OK.
