Hello,
i just got one dell windows 10 (version 1809). I tried to deploy the ENS 10.6.0.672 from McAfee epo orchastrator but looks like it's not doing anything.
How can i fix this issue ???
Solved! Go to Solution.
The product guide for epo tells you how to check in packages and set up tasks to deploy software.
You would basically go to software manager and check in the product version you want. ENS has a bundle that checks in all the components. You would then go to the system tree, assigned client tasks and set up a deployment task to deploy the product. Refer to the ENS product/install guide for instructions on that. As always, test on a few systems first.

What version of the agent are you running? Are you using an assigned client task, or run client task now? If the latter, try assigning a task.
masvc log on the client will show it getting the task and invoking it
mcscript log on client will show it downloading the files (or failing to) from the repository and handing it off to the OS to run the setup
install logs on the client will show, if agent was able to get files, any problems with the install itself.
agent logs - c:\programdata\mcafee\agent\logs
install logs - c:\windows\temp\mcafeelogs

Thanks for the reply but i just found an article on McAfee website that ENS 10.6.0 is not supported on windows 10 (version 1809). I guess i have to upgrade my ENS 10.6.0 to 10.6.1. I'm actually new on McAfee. What would be the process of doing that.
Can you please help ?

When i tried to chekin it gives me options for client package branch - current, previous and evaluation. Which one would be the best option ???
For deployments, it really doesn't matter. The most common is current.

I just update ENS from 10.6.0 to 10.6.1. I was using tags to install Endpoint security into client PC's. So after the update i tried to install it on two of my test PC's(windows 7 & 10) using the existing tag and it's not doing anything. According to the 10.6.1 release notes my agent is compatible with 10.6.1.
Any idea how can i fix this issue... ?
Really appreciate your help.thanks.
Refer to my earlier post to find out why it is failing....
masvc log on the client will show it getting the task and invoking it
mcscript log on client will show it downloading the files (or failing to) from the repository and handing it off to the OS to run the setup
install logs on the client will show, if agent was able to get files, any problems with the install itself.

Hi all!

Agent 5.6.0. 702
I tried to deploy VSE through ePO on the 3 PC's (2 PC's are with Windows 7 x64, 1 PC is with Windows 10 x64). On PC with Windows 10 x64 this task frize on status "pending".
