Automatic Response issue in ePO 4.5

Good day .

I have an issue with my automatic responses , up until friday , it worked fine. Come monday it refused to work , it was an email send for threats.

I deleted the response , recreated , still no joy.

I stopped the event parser service , moved all events in the eop\db\events folder to another location , and restated the parser.

As an added bouns just to make sure i restarted the mcafee app , event parser and server services , still no joy

Any ideas on what to do next ?

Re: Automatic Response issue in ePO 4.5

Hello,

I can think of the mail server actually refusing the mail due to authentication issue or connectivity issue or even IP filter issue.

Please check if you can send a test mail from within ePO and check mail server definition settings.

Thanx for that. I verified that the email server is relaying the mails . All is fine .

I restarted the Mcafee services , and hey presto it started sending the responses.

Surely restarting the services every time to "resolve" the issue is not kosher
