Are the EPO .mib files available other than on the EPO Server itself?

Jump to solution

Hi Folks.

I'm trying to get QRadar to parse the SNMP traps that come from McAfee EPO.  I think that the mib files in \Program Files\McAfee\ePolicy Orchestrator\MIB\ will do this for me.  Page 220 of this file http://www.mcafee.com/us/resources/misc/guides/ms-epo-product-guide.pdf indicates that the files I need are

... three .mib files from \Program Files\McAfee\ePolicy Orchestrator\MIB. ...

1  NAI-MIB.mib

2  TVD-MIB.mib

3  EPO-MIB.mib

Unfortunately, as the QRadar person I do not have login permission for the McAfee EPO server.  I can access the EPO GUI, but the files do not appear to be available there (as I think they were in previous versions)  We are running EPO v5.1.  I've asked a person who has access to the server to get them for me, but that may take more time that I would like.

Are these files available from a trusted location, e.g. on McAfee's site?  I have looked, but I have not been able to locate them yet.

I was able to get them from a person with access to the server.
