Agent to Server communication

Jump to solution

Quick question, what "account" does the agent use to communicate with the server?  Reason I ask is the company I work for needs an exception for not changing the epo admin password.  I just want to verify it would not have any effect on the agent to server communication.  Thank you

The agent does not use an account to talk to the server - communications are secured by public/private keys and SSL (if this is enabled.) Changing the admin password should have no effect on agent/server comms.
