Agent deployment error

Hello,

I am deploying the agent on a computer from our ePO and here is the message error that I have:

"Failure during authentication with the remote system, system error: Network name not found"

I have verifer, my computer is in the network, ping passes ....

Hi BKS_Nesrine,

If you are deploying Agent from ePO, there are some prerequisite which you have to check.

https://kc.mcafee.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=KB56386

  • NetBIOS protocol
  • Network protocols and ports required for machine name resolution
  • ADMIN$ share
  • File and Print sharing
  • Server service
  • Remote Registry service.

Hi,

Thank you for your kind response , I try to enable the Remote Registry serviceI but I have the following errors ' errors 1722 the RPC server is unavailable'.

That is more into Windows related error which you have to check with Microsoft.
