Agent Handler cannot activate encryption software on remote machines

We created an agent handler outside of our network to reach remote clients. We have successfully configured test clients to reach this server and download the required software needed. The client machine is able to check in with the agent handler but it does not activate the encryption software that we have downloaded to the client machine.

In the server log from that agent handler, what errors are there?  Datachannel failures, ldap lookup failures, etc?  In epo console, server settings, user policies, do you have database mirroring enabled?  If not, please do so.  That is not actual database mirroring in the way sql works, but it caches the ldap lookups in the database so agent handers don't have to reach out to an ldap server to look up user info.

Here is the error that am finding in the logs section of the agent handler

No, ignore that one.  Go to the agent handler\db\logs folder and open the server_servername.log.

Those are all software requests and I want to caution you to please do not post any internal information, like IP addresses, server names, etc. 

There are several kb's to look at for failure to encrypt.  Go to support.mcafee.com and search for "inactive" and you will see several kb's for troubleshooting that.
