Agent 4.6.0.2935 & VSE 8.8.0.975 -- policy enforcement interval locks up PCs

Hey, all.

I have a 15-minute policy enforcement interval and a 60-minute policy check interval.

I have noticed outlook PCs freezing for periods of up to 3 or 4 minutes at random times of the day for dozens of PCs in our medium-sized (2000 node) network.

I may have been able to correlate the timestamps for outlook freezing to the Mcafee agent policy enforcement possibly influencing on-delivery email scan properties in some manner - even with on-delivery completely disabled.

Is this just me?  Should I reduce my policy enforcement interval from 15 minutes to something longer?

Please check if you have VSE deployment task scheduled to run at every policy enforcement. This may be causing the problem.

Thanks for your reply, hem!  I do have a few deployment jobs set up as 'run immediately' as per some best practice documents I have read.  "Run Once" didn't seem to work for us.  I will have to try to disable some of these deployment tasks and see how clients respond.
