After upgrading from ePO 5.3 to 5.10 issue with epoEventMT

Jump to solution

Hello Community,

after upgrading to epo 5.10 I have issues with the Threat Event Log. Accessing the Threat Event Log causes the error: Synonym "epoEventsMT" refers to an invalid object.

dbo.EPOEventsMTdbo.EPOEventsMT

Trying to rebuild the index of the database fails.

Did you experienced an similar issue with the report?

Thank you.

ePO 5.10 creates a new database called epo_servername_events and the main db is linked to it with a synonym. The error you are getting indicates that someone either changed the db name or changed something with the synonym. You can't rename that database or remove it or modify the synonym it refers to.
