Active directory sync failed

Hello Dear Friends

I have a problem with my epo .I set up one of my subgroups to sync with active directory and it worked until 3 month ago. but now I refer to sync with active directory it is not working .although,I have not do any changes in my configurations. I see this error in server task log:

Started: Synchronizing 1 groups
1/27/18 11:00:46 AMSynchronizing 1 synchronized groups
1/27/18 11:00:46 AM

Another task is currently performing synchronization to group My Organization\X skipping.

 

 I ended in progress task processes too but it is not solved.also I set daily task from my server task to sync with active directory every 2 hours but it failed. how can I fixed it?

Is that the same failure message you get all the time when it fails?  Please see if KB83384 or KB84114 applies.  What is the purpose of running it every 2 hours - does your environment change that frequently?  If the KB's don't apply, then stop all epo services and restart them.  When tomcat takes a long time to stop, don't kill the process.  Let it stop on its own no matter how long it takes.  Let us know if that helps any.

thanks for your response my problem solved 🙂

I restart my server and  the tasks run correctly. should I have to limit my schedule from every 2 hours into once a day if our changes are not significant?

It couldn't hurt to modify the schedule.  You can run it once or twice a day, but it isn't necessary to run that frequently if your environment is fairly stable.

I scheduled it twice a day,but I refer to my server task log ,the task was became on progress and not compeleted,now I should terminate it and  It become in pending terminate!! does it have a big load? it is not useful to restart services after running 2 sync tasks.

Did you check the 2 kb's i referred you to?  If you did and issue still persists, then please open a ticket with McAfee.  There is probably more going on and we would need to see logs.
