move the EPO to another server

I have EPO on Windows Server 2008, in that regard, I want to move EPO from the current Windows Server 2008 to the new Windows Server 2019 server. Please provide information on the steps I have to do.

I would like to request you to please refer the below KB article for the supported Operating Systems :

You need to take a backup of your current ePO Server and ePO Database with the help of the below KB artcile:

https://kc.mcafee.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=KB66616

Once done, Please follow the same KB article for ePO Disaster Recovery process and get this install on new ePO Server.

Just wanted to give you another workaround,

Since 2008 is no more supported in that case build a new server and install new ePO and Database one that machine.

Once don please initiate System Transfer from one ePO Server to another ePO Server with the help of the below KB article:

How to migrate policies and systems from one ePolicy Orchestrator server to another server:

https://kc.mcafee.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=KB88822

You must be on an older version of epo than 5.10, since 2008 isn't supported with epo 5.10.  However, epo 5.10 is the only version supported on 2019.  So, you might need to do a staged migration.  In other works, migrate first to an OS that is supported with 5.10 using disaster recovery procedure, then upgrade it to 5.10.  Then you can migrate to 2019 server.  The other things to consider is the version of sql the database is running.  If that is also on an older version, you may have to follow same procedure there.
