migrating epo DB server to new server

We are migrating epo DB server from old server to new server. Once the db migrated , we will be swapping the old db server IP to new server.Server name will be differ, retainging the old ip. if i swap the epo DB server ip address will the clients still be able to connect to the machine for their updates? . there will be any impact.? What are the steps we have to follow? do you have any steps pls let me knw

The end nodes do not see the SQL database details hence this is transparent to the end nodes, what matters is what ePO and its Remote agent handlers see and that procedure to migrate the DB to another server is described here:
