install agent failed: error code 222

Hi heroes,

Agent 5.6.2.209, we are failing to install agent on one windows 10 machines, error is:

CustomAction InstallSiteList returned actual error code 1603 (note this may not be 100% accurate if translation happened inside sandbox)

What does the "error code 222" means?

ERROR_BAD_FILE_TYPE

222 (0xDE)

The file type being saved or retrieved has been blocked.

If possible please check FrmInst.log and .msi log available in Windows>Temp>McAfee Logs folder , If trying manually please %temp%>McAfee Logs folder.

Check VSE or ENS access protection logs to make sure that is not blocking anything.  Is this an upgrade or re-install, or fresh install?  Was old agent still on system or did you uninstall first?  If uninstall, make sure there are no remnants left behind, as that can cause file locking so new install can't overwrite.
