Re: how to uninstall macafee agent form client side, because client is out of office

Hello @User12704282

Thanks for your post.

If you are looking for McAfee Agent Removal from the client machine without accessing it,In that case there is an option:

System Tree-Select the machine-Actions (Bottom left side)-Directory Management-Delete and then select remove McAfee Agent Option.

Using this open the agent will be removed from the machine and as well as the entry also but you can add the machine again .

Or,

Checking the Endpoint Removal tool in Master Repository and the use the switch then send a task to the machine it will remove the product as per the switch parameters given by you while creating the Task.

Please make sure that after running the EPR on the client machine reboot is mandatory.

Also please note that EPR is last resort option.

Please explore the below link:

For the remove agent option to work when you delete a system, all McAfee products need to be removed first.  Otherwise it will only put it in unmanaged mode.  Additionally, that requires the agent to be functioning (as in communicating with epo) for that and any tasks to work.  You might need to remediate locally if agent really isn't functioning.  Other than that, you can try an upgrade to see if that resolves anything.
