endpoint 10.6.1 doesnt update to 10.7 in deployment

I have a agent task to deploy endpoint 10.7 to overwrite 10.6.1.

The task in Epo says is it completed and only takes 45secs but the computer never updates 

What am i missing?

Hi ryan190, 

Firstly you have to check the compatibility of the product. Check ENS 10.7 supported platform details. If your target machine is supported, then check the second link which will help you to troubleshoot deployment related issues.

Note : Ensure you create a client product deployment task to upgrade from ENS 10.6.1 to 10.7

Hi @ryan190,

Thank you for your post. May I please request you to kindly look into mfemactl.log file in C:\programdata\McAfee\Agent\Logs Folder and share the last few lines recorded exactly at the time of your deployment task ? An immediate end of task without error would usually point to dll injection not allowing the task to run.
