Hi
I am trying to install the ePolicy Orchestrator Agent on all AD computers, but I can only install it from download link directly on each computer.
I want to do everything at once with AD synchronization from EPO Server side. Is it possible simple ePolicy Orchestrator configuration to do this?
Thanks
Hi,
The short answer is yes! There a couple of ways to do this. I think the easiest way, might be to import a list of machines, into ePO and use the New Systems function in the System Tree. This will require that you have administrative access on the systems, as you will have to provide an account and password.
Another way would be to sync AD to a folder(s) in the System Tree, and then have the ePO push agents to them automatically. Once again you will need an account that has admin access on the machines.
You can also use the Rogue system feature if you have it. Of course, in the future, you will want to have the agent burned into your images. So, these are my suggestions, maybe someone else in the community has more ideas.
Hello paulopires16,
Yes, it possible to manage all your client machines by configuring the agent deployment task with AD sync server task which would automate in detecting new machines from AD install the agents as per the configuration. You may require a domain admin credentials to configure the deployment task. Below are two links for your reference.
